SISALplus is the most stain-resistant, 100% natural sisal on the market today. It is the only sisal whose natural strands are coated with a stain-resistant and fire-retardant material before being made into yarn and then woven into carpet. At the end of this process, the stain-resistant material covers 100% of the sisal. This weave was developed for the strongest use class. It is suitable for extra heavy-contract use and very high-traffic areas. SISALplus is perfect for our Hospitality and Store Design clients or for families with kids and/ or pets.
Other sisals that are treated with a topical spray product will only last a few weeks before the protection wears off from vacuuming and foot traffic. SISALplus will always remain stain resistant regardless of foot traffic or vacuuming. The stain resistant treatment is a fluorocarbon treatment directly onto the fibers.
