Walk-Off Mats FAQs
What is a walk-off mat?
A walk-off mat is an entrance floor covering designed to capture dirt, debris, and moisture from foot traffic before they spread throughout a building.
Walk-off mats help protect interior flooring, reduce cleaning needs, and maintain a welcoming entrance in commercial and residential spaces.

Which walk-off mat is right for my project?
Commercial walk-off mats are designed to withstand heavy foot traffic in busy environments such as hospitality lobbies, retail stores, and office entrances. They feature durable fibers, moisture-absorbing construction, and specialized backing or edging for stability. Curran offers both synthetic and natural options for different applications.

Can walk-off mats be used outdoors?
Yes, but suitability depends on the material. Titan and Murray are made from 100% solution-dyed, UV-stabilized polypropylene and are designed for indoor and outdoor use. Their resistance to fading, mold, and mildew makes them practical for commercial entrances and other areas exposed to the elements.
Natural coir mats, such as Poona, are better suited to protected entryways because exposure to the elements may cause fading or staining.
Can walk-off mats be customized with a logo?
Yes. Curran offers custom logo walk-off mats in our Titan and Murray collections. Personalize your mat with a company logo, lettering, or other design elements, with options for colors, sizing, and edge finishes.
