Synthesis and our other woven vinyls meet the slip-resistance standard ASTM C1028. These marine carpets for boats stand up to sun exposure or salty weather, are easy to clean, and can be sanitized with heavy duty cleaners. We don’t recommend plush or shag boat carpets for exterior decking or yacht flooring because the high pile traps debris, moisture and mold which leads to bacteria growth and odors.

Our woven vinyl collection is easy to customize on site to fit even the most complex layouts. Weaves like Seaboard and Wave can be cut to size with proper planning and the right tools (i.e., sharp blades). All of our weaves have guidelines for installation that can be found under the Installation tab on the weave page. Woven vinyl will not fray and does not require a border.
