  • Stain-Resistant: Thanks to its smooth, waxy coating, seagrass is naturally resistant to spills and accidents, making it a great option for pet-friendly homes and high-traffic areas. For added protection, apply Sisal-Guard for extra spill and stain resistance.

  • Indoor Use: Seagrass is sensitive to humidity and moisture so we recommend using Cyprus indoors in dry, climate-controlled areas.

  • Acclimation: Seagrass rugs have an earthy scent and greenish hue that fade with time. They are also prone to slight shrinkage.

  • Rug Pad Recommended: We recommend using a rug pad with Cyprus for added comfort and to protect your floors.

  • Extra Cushion: Cyprus is also available with a urethane backing for an extra layer of cushion and durability.

NOTE ABOUT SEAGRASS ON STAIRS

  • We recommend using an experienced installer that specializes in flat weave carpet installation.

  • We do not recommend installing Urethane-backed Seagrass on stairs.

  • For best results when installing seagrass on stairs, we recommend rotating the weave direction 90* and using the weave width as the length running down the stairs. This may require use of a seam.

METHOD

Standard/ Curbside Delivery: Standard curbside delivery means your rug will be delivered by one driver to the curb or to your driveway. The driver is not responsible for carrying your rug into your home or office, unpacking the rug, unrolling it or clearing away packaging. Curbside delivery on all orders is FREE. If you need additional services, consider Enhanced Delivery.

Oversized Rugs: For oversized items, we recommend enhanced delivery service, by appointment. 

Enhanced Delivery: This service offers various levels of inside delivery options which may include the following: 

  • over the threshold delivery

  • placement in the room of the customer’s choice (including up or down one flight of stairs)

  • unpacking

  • removal of packaging

  • assembly and placement of the items

We are happy to provide a quote upon request, taking into account the delivery address and service level preferred. Please state the best delivery contact name and phone number when checking out as the delivery company will need a valid contact number to reach you. Someone must be present at the time of delivery.

Any additional services? Please make a note during checkout of any needs that are above and beyond the enhanced delivery description, and we will gladly give you a quote. Examples include:

  • carry up (no elevator)

  • narrow staircase

  • many stairs

  • long haul

  • shifting and moving of any personal furniture
